Awards evening to recognise assistive tech innovators, retailers, suppliers and service providers

The British Healthcare Trades Association (BHTA) is inviting the healthcare and assistive technology industries to take part in its annual awards evening.

The British Healthcare Trades Industry Awards 2025 will take place at Cutlers’ Hall in Sheffield on 4 December 2025.

With a variety of categories to enter, the BHTA is calling on innovators, retailers, suppliers and service providers to enter the awards.

Available to enter, the Best UK Trade Show Award recognises exceptional events dedicated to the advancement of the healthcare and assistive technology industry.

The Innovation in Sustainability Award recognises organisations at the forefront of genuine innovation in the pursuit of environmental goals, making significant strides in the past year towards creating a more sustainable future.

The Lifetime Service Award is designed to recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements of those whose lifelong dedication has made a tangible and lasting difference in the healthcare and assistive technology field.

Additionally, the Manufacturer of the Year Award honours companies with healthcare and assistive technology manufacturing operations in the UK that have demonstrated exceptional performance over the past 12 months.

The Outstanding Community Outreach Award will be given to the individual, team, or organisation whose unwavering dedication, time investment, and actions have created a positive and lasting difference in the lives of community members.

The Product of the Year Award celebrates overall product excellence in the healthcare and assistive technology industry.

Furthermore, the Retailer of the Year award is designed to showcase and applaud companies with retailer operations that have demonstrated exceptional performance and excellence over the past 12 months.

The Rising Star Award will recognise and celebrate individuals who have brought a fresh perspective to the healthcare and assistive technology industry.

Finally, the Team of the Year Award recognises a group of individuals who have successfully collaborated to make a significant impact on their organisations and/or
the wider industry.

The evening aims to provide the opportunity chance to network and recognise the nominees that have made remarkable achievements and innovations in assistive technology and healthcare.

The BHTA has recently acquired important information from NHS Supply Chain through a Freedom of Information request submitted to Supply Chain Coordination Limited, the organisation responsible for managing NHS Supply Chain operations.
