Multicare Medical, a specialist provider of patient handling and care equipment, has teamed up with stairlift manufacturer Platinum Stairlifts to deliver reliable stairlift installations in people’s homes.
As part of the new partnership, Multicare Medical will supply and install Platinum Stairlifts’ range of UK-manufactured stairlifts.
Importantly, each installation is delivered in-house by Multicare Medical’s own engineers, with no subcontractors involved, to ensure quality control and continuity of care throughout the process.
The aim of the partnership is to bring cost-effective, fair, and a trustworthy full-service approach to stairlift supply and installation in people’s homes. Overall, the goal is to support disabled people, elderly individuals, and those with reduced mobility to continue living safely and independently in their own homes.
Samuel Wheatcroft, CEO at Multicare Medical, said: “We’ve always taken pride in being a company that genuinely cares. Not just about the product, but about the people.
“The launch of our stairlift range is a natural progression, giving families a reliable, expert-led alternative in a space that’s often sadly dominated by hard sales, making money, and limited service. We’re also proud to back up our offering with a promise that we will deliver above and beyond any other stairlift provider.”
The new range includes stairlifts for straight, curved, and complex staircases, with easy-to-use controls, a smooth and quiet ride, and compact designs that fold away neatly when not in use.
Multicare Medical says that Platinum Stairlifts provides the only stairlift to offer a first step start for simple installation and reduced cost, as well as forward-facing travel to improve comfort and safety.
In addition, there is an option to monitor stairlift use and send alerts to loved ones of any potential issues such as faults, warnings, or if the stairlift has not been used for a while. This means loved ones can have peace of mind, knowing everything is working as it should.
Multicare Medical’s is also offering an ‘Extra Step Promise’, which details the company’s commitment to users that they will get the right stairlift, at a fair price, and explains what happens if these expectations are not met.
