Mobility solutions specialist RHealthcare has announced that its wheelchair products and accessories are now available through the NHS Supply Chain: Rehabilitation and Community – Wheelchairs, Specialist Seating and Related Services Framework.
The company was successful in securing a place on Lot 1: Wheelchairs and Specialist Seating. This is a 24-month framework which began on 9 June 2025 and ends on 8 June 2027. There is an option to extend for an additional 24 months.
Under the framework agreement, the mobility products and spares can be used in acute hospitals, mental health, and community settings.
Working in partnership with NHS Supply Chain: Rehabilitation and Community, RHealthcare offers users more than six wheelchair models with size variations, plus a power add-on for manual wheelchairs.
Awarded products include two heavy duty manual wheelchairs – the Dash 200 HD and Dash Super HD – both of which are crash test approved; several lightweight aluminium frame options from the Dash Lite range; two general-purpose folding back wheelchairs – self-propelled or attendant propelled; and a quality steel modular chair in three weight options.
The assisted power drive, Todo drive, is also available from RHealthcare via this framework. It converts a manual wheelchair into a powered one and can be added to most self-propelled wheelchairs.
A complete list of the awarded products is available from the NHS Supply Chain: Rehabilitation and Community Category Manager.
Speaking about the framework award, Matthew Nelson, NHS Product Manager and Online for RHealthcare, said: “This is a significant achievement for RHealthcare. We have worked in partnership with the NHS Supply Chain for more than 15 years and we are pleased to continue this relationship.
“One aim of this direct framework is to mitigate risk by building resources into NHS sourcing strategies, as such, we are proud to be recognised as a stable supplier. We also positively contribute with our enhanced product range, expertise and commitment to sustainable practices such as our carbon reduction plan.”
RHealthcare is a trading name of R Link Limited and is listed on the framework under this company name.
RHealthcare recently exhibited at PMG 2025, where the firm showcased its range of heavy-duty wheelchairs and accessories to attendees.
